LAS VEGAS, NV- After two very, very long rounds of golf, 216 drunk and happy medios piled into the banquet room at Revere Golf Club to witness the crowning of their new World Champion. As The Belt was passed on from defending Champ Nick Hinton to our new champ, there wasn’t a dry glass in the house.

The new Champ had a great day yesterday, shooting an 87 to take the round 1 lead. Today, he had a just-good-enough day, shooting a 98 to beat West Chester’s Jeremey Pilkerton and SF’s Rob Nguyen by one stroke to claim his 5th MGA victory in a row and his first World Championship.

Ladies and Gentlemen. From Spokane MGA, with a 2 round total of 185, your 2017 MGA World Champion…. MATTHEW ITTNER!!!

Oh and SF won the Chapters Cup, but you already knew that was going to happen.
