THE INTERNET, CA – We got off to a slow start, but the procrastinators came on strong (a full two months after registration opened) and filled the main event up to the brim! In spite of that, we have decided to give the Born Hairy a year off, rather than waiting around to find out how many more procrastinators might be out there.

So to those of you who got in, welcome to the big show, and to anyone still hoping to get in, get yourself on the wait list ASAP and cross your fingers!

ORDER CONFIRMATION PROCESS

The computers are humming like a pack of angry hornets at MGA World Headquarters trying to process all the orders -and the bizarre ways in which they were placed- to insure everyone ends up with the package they intended to purchase.

You can help us out by going to our order confirmation page and checking to make sure we have everything right for your order in our database.

1. Find the order number from your Big Cartel order in your email. It will be 4 letters followed by 6 numbers. e.g. #SUCK-420690

2. Go to the Order Confirmation Page (best viewed on a computer, worst viewed landscape mode on your phone) and search for that number.

3. If you find any issues, email El Presidente at jon@mgatour.com.

MGAWC FORMAT

Without the Born Hairy, we’ll be going back to the LOIQ format we used all the years before the Born Hairy came into existence. You can read all about it here, or get the Cliff’s Notes version below.

1. All eligible Chapter Leaders, tournament winners and medios who finished in the top 10 on their Chapter Money list come to Vegas qualified to play for The Belt.

2. All other eligible medios will play round 1 and battle to make it through the LOIQ  (Last Opportunity In Qualification). The top half of the LOIQ field (and ties) advances to round 2 and is qualified to play for The Belt on Tuesday! The bottom half comes back and plays a fun round of golf Tuesday, but will not be qualified to compete for The Belt.

3. Medios who are ineligible (less than 3 events this year or less than 5 career events) are only competing for The Gross award.
