Odds are good you screwed one of these up.

THE INTERNET, CA – Now that 199 people have signed up for MGAWC 23 over at MGAWC.bigcartel.com, we’ve been able to identify the weak spots in our defenses against mediocre reading skills.

1. No Roommate in Notes

We asked very nicely for you to put your roommate’s name in the notes box at checkout (if you booked at double occupancy package). Many of you very nicely chose to ignore that request. Feel free to give us your roommate’s name HERE at your convenience.

2. No Chapter In Notes

A little less nicely and with a hint of frustration, we asked you to give us your Chapter in the notes box at checkout. You did not. No need to email it to us now, as we will process all the slackers in one big, illiterate pile.

3. No practice round

We changed the way packages are booked this year and we’re a bit paranoid some people might have missed that. It used to be, if you booked a Wednesday check-in, you always got a Thursday practice round with that package. But this year, you need to manually add that Thursday practice round after picking your Wednesday check-in.

Needless to say, we have enough Wednesday check-ins without any Thursday practice rounds to sound the alarm bells. So please check your registration and make sure you bought a Thursday practice round if you plan on playing with us. You can pick either Revere or Arroyo for that round at the time of purchase, but you can’t switch them last minute.

BONUS MEDIOCRE MOVE: ADDING THE WRONG EXTRA NIGHT

All the base packages check-out on Sunday Nov. 12. If your flight is on Monday the 13th, you’ll need to add the night of Sunday the 12th to your package and NOT the night of Monday the 13th.

Congratulations if you successfully dodged all these landmines! You have made El Presidente’s life a little easier and it won’t be forgotten.

If you haven’t yet signed up, get on it now and take advantage of the “kinda full refund” policy until August 9th. That will let you lock in your spot while you sort out travel and vacation days.
